BEST jumps on board One Long Table

BEST Employment has joined an extensive list of sponsors and supporters for this year's One Long Table in Chinchilla.

To be held on October 14, One Long Table is a culinary celebration, bringing together the different tastes and flavours that make up Chinchilla's diverse cultural milieu.

The event began in 2010 as an initiative of Chinchilla Community Commerce and Industry, designed to welcome those workers and families involved in the construction of the Kogan Creek Power Station.

Come October 14, Heeney St will be closed to traffic, and various vendors will line the footpaths, with one long table set up straight through the centre of town.

BEST Employment's Kate Ottewell said she was happy to present One Long Table with a $1000 sponsorship.

"This is what BEST is all about - helping communities network and grow and succeed,” she said.

"We see the benefit in helping out and BEST wants to be a part of that.”
