Beauty blogger slammed for ‘sexualising’ child with makeup

Instagram

A PHOTO of a young girl wearing heavy make-up and false eyelashes has sparked a fierce debate online.

Italian beauty blogger Fare Mirza, who posts on the account 'idontneedanameb***h', shared the picture with her 204,000 followers over the weekend to mixed reactions.

She captioned the picture: "This is cute I mean it's okay to do makeup on your daughter one time and use the right and safe products just for fun, it's not okay if she wears it everyday lol."

The photo shows the unnamed youngster - who apparently has no connection to Mirza - with a contoured face, heavily drawn on eyebrows, glittery eye make-up and deep plum coloured lips.

She is also wearing large fake eyelashes and has her hair pulled up in to a trendy top knot.

Fare told the Mail Online that the little girl - who she posted a similar photo of a few months ago - is not related to her, and that she found the photos on another account and reported them.

But her followers were still unhappy that she shared them at all.

"It's not okay to sexualise a child," one said.

Another wrote: "Kid with make up. How can she believe in her natural beauty if she is makeuped even as a child? That's more than stupid!"
