Be there with Bells on

BELL'S annual races are right around the corner, just when you thought the Summer racing season was beginning to dry up.

This Saturday's race meet is expecting to see about 1000 spectators from right around the Western Downs area flock to the picturesque town of Bell, just an hours drive east of Chinchilla.

Trainers have nominated from all over Queensland for the chance to compete, with five races running throughout the day.

Aside from the races themselves, spectators can also look forward to the fashions on the field.

With a best dressed couples category, there's sure to be some excellent colour coordination on the day.

There will also be live entertainment provided by local duo Tucker and Chop.

The event will be held at the Bell Race Club on Maxwell Street, with gates opening at 10 am.

Tickets can be purchased on entry and are $10 for adults with children gaining entry for free.
