Be amazed with Aussie World's illusionist

JESSIE Daley is now living his dream, performing illusions and magic tricks all over Australia.

As a teenager he literally ran away and joined the circus and after honing his craft from the best in the business.

The 2016 Australia's Got Talent finalist has been performing at Aussie World with his Beerwah-born girlfriend Helana with the final show at Saturday night's Aussie World Ride the Night Hot Summer Nights.

Now the youngest professional illusionist in the country, he said he fell into the industry by chance.

"The circus was just down the road and I just asked them if there was any community work I could do and went from there," the 22-year-old said.

"I'd always loved magic and saw a magician on stage one day and decided it was what I wanted to do.

"Helana and I just love what we do, the opportunity to travel to different parts of Australia with Ashton Circus and amaze audiences every day of the year is so rewarding.

"Helana grew up in Beerwah and was a regular at Aussie World for many years so it's great for her to come back and perform our own show to her local audience.

"I've learnt all my tricks and illusions from some of the best in the business. In fact all of the illusions are from Vegas so that gives people an example of the high quality show we put on at The Shed each day.

"We've been really happy with the response to our shows this week. The opportunity to bring world-class magic, illusions and escapes to the Sunshine Coast has been really well received."

Saturday Night's Ride the Night also includes live DJs, laser lights, roving performers and fireworks as well as access to all of the Aussie World rides and attractions from $20 for students.

The fun starts at 6pm continues until 9.30pm. For more information or to book your tickets, visit www.aussieworld.com.au.
