Baby Rudy comes just in time for Father's Day
JAMIE Jensen already feels like he spent the past few days celebrating Father's Day.
The Toowoomba man became a dad on Tuesday, welcoming son Rudy Wayne with his partner Peta Steedman.
"He was due on September 5 so we just snuck in before Father's Day," Mr Jensen said.
Mr Jensen was so excited to welcome a son that Ms Steedman said he got up and danced in the doctor's office when they learned it was a boy.

He was equally excited to know he would have a mini North Queensland Cowboys fan by his side.
"He will be a Cowboys fan, there is no doubt about that. He has got four outfits already," Mr Jensen said.
Above all, Mr Jensen just hopes Rudy will be happy and healthy.
"The best thing is just being able to spend time with the special little fella here," he said.
The couple took Rudy from Toowoomba Hospital yesterday to their new home at Grantham and will enjoy a barbecue with family tomorrow.
