AUSTRALIA men's coach Andy Friend has made two changes to his squad for this weekend's London Sevens at Twickenham - the final tournament of the 2016-17 world series.
Tom Kingston is back in the 12 after originally being named as 13th man for Paris, although the 25-year old did feature on day one in France after an injury to John Porch.
Speedster Brandon Quinn is the other change, as he returns to the line-up for the first time since Vancouver in March.
Australia are sixth on the world series standings and are aiming to leapfrog the United States for fifth in London.
"We have a great opportunity to finish the season off strong in London, in what's been a great year of regeneration for this young side," Friend said.
"Brandon Quinn comes into the side, he's got great speed so we'll be looking to utilise that on the edges.
"Tom has been involved for the last three tournaments so he knows what to expect, and what's expected of him.
"We want to get back into the top eight in London after a disappointing weekend in Paris.
"We have a tough pool and I know all the boys are keen to bounce back into the quarters, the semis and beyond."
Australia are in Pool D with England, Samoa and Spain.
South Africa secured the world series title last weekend as they won the cup final in Paris.
