UPDATE: Woman charged following attack at Bundy business

UPDATE: Police are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted in Bundaberg last night.

It will be alleged that around 8pm, police attended a licensed premises on Targo Street after a 27-year-old Bundaberg South man was injured in a physical altercation with a man and a woman. The man was armed with a broken glass.

The 27-year-old was allegedly punched and kicked in the altercation and was transported to Bundaberg Hospital with facial injuries.

A 28-year-old Mount Gambier (South Australia) woman has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on June 20.

A 35-year-old Mount Gambier (South Australia) man is assisting police with their inquiries.

Investigations are continuing.

EARLIER: Two people were taken to Bundaberg Hospital after an attack on Targo St. 

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said ambulance officers were called about 8.05pm. 

The assault, which happened at a business, resulted in one person suffering lacerations to their neck, and the other - a male - suffering facial injuries. 

Both were transported to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.
