Whale beached in Bundaberg

THE fourth marine mammal to be beached near Bundaberg in two weeks has washed up at Moore Park Beach.

The baby humpback washed up this afternoon, reportedly near the mouth of the South Kolan river.

A rare snubfin dolphin washed up at Moore Park Beach on August 20.

Another baby humpack had to be euthanised after beaching itself near Woodgate on August 22.

A whale also washed up at Fraser Island that week.
