AN ALLEGED kidnapping involving Clive Palmer's media advisor will come before the court again on February 1, 2016.

Andrew James Crook faces charges of fraud, attempting to pervert justice and retaliation against a witness for his alleged role in kidnapping an NAB employee.

Mr Crook has been fighting the charges since he was granted bail last year.

Police allege he was involved in an elaborate scheme to kidnap the worker who had testified in a court case involving a former AFL player.

Police believe Mr Crook used his link to Mr Palmer to make a job offer to the man appear legitimate.

But police have never suggested the Fairfax MP and mining magnate had any involvement.

The worker was allegedly then flown to Indonesia where two men allegedly kidnapped him and threatened him into making a video recanting evidence he gave in the case.

The case was adjourned on Monday for a mention in the Brisbane Magistrates Court in February.
