Rugby League Grand Final

THE Miles Devils are taking on Roma Cities at Bassett Park this Sunday in the grand final of the Roma and District Rugby League competition.

Roma are the heavy favourites after a stunning season but it would be foolish to write off a Devils team that has timed its run to perfection.

The under 16s begin at 10.30am, while the main game gets under way at 3.20pm.

First Coat Wondoan

WANDOAN residents should keep their eyes open this week as a new mural is being commissioned by David Houghton at Pocket Park.

Beginning on Tuesday, the mural is part of the First Coat Festival, with the official opening tomorrow at 4pm.

The mural is for all ages and it is free to attend the official opening.

Singing show

GOLD Coast singing group Fasolati will be performing in Chinchilla on Sunday at the RSL club from 5.30pm.

The group will entertain the crowd with hit songs from the '60s and '70s, and has a few surprises.
