Kindergarten Teacher
About the role: FGP Moreton Inc, a not-for-profit organisation, operators of Mitchell EEC in beautiful rural Mitchell, Qld, is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to commence: January 2021.
This position can be either:
Fulltime – 5 days a week teaching the kindergarten program during State School term, being educational leader and working with the Director on quality improvement areas
Permanent part time - (42 hours per fortnight) This equates to three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). teaching the kindergarten program to kindergarten aged children. This option would suit someone who is studying their Bachelor Degree. *Allows four days a week for Long Weekends and for time to complete study requirements.
Mitchell is 5 hours drive from Toowoomba on very good roads.
You are ‘taken to be an early childhood teacher’ if you:
are enrolled in an approved early childhood teaching qualification, and have documentary evidence from the course provider that you: have started the course, and are making satisfactory progress towards completing the course, and are meeting the requirements for maintaining the enrolment, and
hold an approved diploma level educator qualification, or have completed at least 50 per cent of the course.

Current Blue Card
High level of written and verbal communication skills
A commitment to continuing professional and personal development.

Remuneration: The position is classified under the Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2010. http://awardviewer.fwo.gov.au/award/show/MA000077#P301_34108 and applicable legislation. Pay rates are determined by qualifications and years of teaching experience. Base Rate: LEVEL 4.
In addition, you will receive the following incentives:
Rental Assistance. 70% of fortnightly rent paid. House provided.
Paid leave during all state school term breaks. (11 weeks annual leave)
Bachelor of Education (early childhood) or equivalent University Course Fees paid by the employer for each Unit successfully completed each semester. Evidence of successful completion must be provided.
