Still haven't decided what you're doing this Australia Day? Want to know about kid-friendly Australia Day events? Where your nearest Australia Day ceremony is taking place? Where you can celebrate?

We've got you covered.

Aussie bowls

CHINCHILLA Bowls Club are throwing an Australia Day bowls and dress up day on Tuesday.

Dress up in your best Aussie outfit for a 12pm sausage sizzle before the game gets under way at 1pm.

Everyone welcome.

Australia Day breakfasts and ceremonies

START your Australia Day early this Tuesday at one of the many free breakfasts in Chinchilla, Miles, Jandowae, Tara and Wandoan.

Following the breakfasts will be the official respective ceremonies for the winners of the Australia Day Awards.

Australia Day Ambassadors Tim Baker, Ken Donald and Ross McKinnon will be in attendance at one or more of the events.

Tara Ute Muster

ACCORDING to the organisers of the first ever Australia Day Tara Ute Muster, there's no more appropriate way to celebrate Aussie pride than with ute pride.

Starting at 10am on Tuesday at the Tara Hotel Motel, the judging of the utes will commence shortly afterwards.

Camping is free overnight but there's strictly no BYO on alcohol.

Chinchilla Museum family fun afternoon

CHINCHILLA Museum will be carrying the Australia Day festivities into the afternoon with a special family fun program planned from 2pm onwards.

Train rides, face-painting and DIY lamingtons among other activities will keep the kids entertained before the Flavour It Your Way sausage competition starts at 4pm.

Tara Australia Day

Tara's Australia Day celebrations will be held at Tara Showgrounds from 10am with a free luncheon and a host of family fun celebrations until late in the afternoon.

Also on the program will be an orientation for new residents to get to know their neighbours and learn about sporting and social clubs in Tara.
